I'm anxious for my surgery! I've got my pre-op bloods all done, and was told that I should be operated around end February / March. It will be easier to run around after my baby who will most likely start walking by then or on the verge. :)
Ok Guys this is it! Monday Monday Monday.....LOL
I wanted to know, are we allowed Tea right after surgery.
I know were not allowed coffee.....I am just getting my things ready for after and I am not sure about tea!!
I know I am gonna miss my coffee so I was hoping I can replace it with some nice warm comforting tea.
I'm not as nervous as I was the first time.....I just hope they can save my spleen in the process.
Today, and tomorrow is all about getting the kids, and house ready. Oh the chores!!!!LoL
Hi Miss Curves,
I believe the panniculus and/or apron is usually covered by RAMQ, but most often not, the upper tummy, breasts, arms or legs are not, unless it's a health issue.
Hi Lindsay.. When I decided that I wanted to have WLS i went looking for info on the surgery, other people who had it and so on and so forth.. it was almost impossible to find that locally. I found obeieityhelp.com because I was watching a youtube video of a guy who lived in Montreal and had WLS.. he mentioned this site. I could suggest the owners of the site do some SEO (search engine optimization) and get more members to keep it alive, in addition to the current members.
Hey everyone...I don't post very often but i am starting to worry about something...After loosing LARGE amounts of weight there will be a large excess of skin. Yes the gym helps, but i am sure my stomach will defiantly have skin that just won't bounce back no matter what you do. Is this surgery covered by health care? Or is this considered "Cosmetic"? Thanks!
So.. I'm 17 weeks out.. god the time has FLOWN by! I feel fantastic! I'm down like 89 lbs! WTF!
Yesterday at the gym, Lindsay and I were talking and exchanging our "Curves" .. I went home and snapped some shots, please excuse the extremely messy hair and lack of make up.. it's been a tough 2 weeks with sick kids and activities coming out the wazoo! I think I spread myself too thin!!!!
