Feminine odor?

So, has anyone else experienced this?  I'm 3 1/2 weeks out and my doc. says it's Ketosis and eventually it'll go away!  And my periods late?  Is that normal too?

I had both!  I'm happy to say that the odor is gone...that was my biggest concern!  My period has never been normal without birth control, but I finally had one last week!

So know that this too shall pass!

Oh wow.... thanks for posting that....I was wondering about that. I'm 10 days out and I thought I was going crazy... I called my nurse and she said it was not caused by the surgery... It sure smells medicinal... yuck.

It'll change from the medicinal smell to yuckier......sorry to hurt your feelings!!  I hope this fades sooner.  I can't believe more ppl haven't responded to the post because my doc told me it's very common......good luck!

I had this too.  It seemed even under arm deoderant didn't work as well as before.  This does pass and things will return to normal.  It took a few months though....

I'm with ya too!  But I wasn't about to ask even the nurse.  Figured it was related to the surgery somehow.  Oh, what we women go through!!!

More to look forward to.... LOL  that and the gas I keep reading about, I think my promises to my DH that loving will get better once I lose weight might just be a myth...  LOL

it got 2 the point where even my 4yr old refused to use mommy's bathroom because it smelled bad!!!!!! lol!!

it's gone away now.

although,

sometimes it comes back when i eat very high protein meals.

just, keep some stuff 2 put in toilet after u go. i pour fabuloso i there after each use and keep it in there overnight.

it'll get better!!
