Excess Skin Vent...

I so understand where you are coming from. I have had a couple people say so are you going to have plastics done im like yeah are you going to pay for it. People have no manors sometimes, bad enough going through so many changes in such a small amount of time and you want to throw that in our face. By the way congrats on your journey!!!

I hear you with so many changes in such a small amount of time.  The excess skin is really the last thing that I want to worry about.  Its like telling a cancer survivor that its great that you are cancer free but what are you going to do about your hair....   Sometimes I don't understand people and whether its curiosity, ignorance or something that I just don't yet get.

Thanks for the congrats.  I'm 12 days post op and have not had buyer's remorse yet.  I am looking forward to doing things that I haven't been able to do for years because of my size.  The world is my oyster and I feel reborn.   Screw the excess skin...

I look at the skin issue this way.  It really isn't excess skin,  I had the skin before the surgery it was just filled out with fat!  I would rather have the weight loss and saggy skin that is why they made SPANX !  LOL
I never liked how I looked in the mirror and now with the weight loss I love the way I look.  I see the skin as a trophy of my hard work.

I really like your attitude.  I am very comfortable in my skin (albeit a bit saggy) and will wear it proudly as my badge of courage.
