Surgery Tomorrow!
It all went well and I was totally overwhelmed with info when I got home. Was there from 10:30am to 4pm. yikes! Lot's of info to take in and tests , etc.. That night the guy that works with my husband called and we talked about RNY for about an hour. He had his WLS in March and is down 170 lbs! holy cow! He loves his life now and is healthy and loves to talk about it. He gave me lot's of hints and tips, etc to get me going. I can't wait til surgery day and get this new life started!! Again, I will be thinking of you and your adventure tomorrow! Be brave , be strong and be convinced that you are doing the right thing for yourself~
Thanks!!!! So glad you got connected with him. Good for him! Feel free to share any tips that you got from him! I know I'm doing the right thing, and have no regrets at this point. I'm sure I will go through the depressed stage after, but it will all be worth it in the end!
