Hi

I just had a conversion from Sleeve to Bypass 4 days ago. My left side wounds are so painful. Is this normal?

anyone else have this conversion? Any advice is appreciated.

I remember some of my incisions being more painful and swollen than others. If its unmanageable, or warm to the touch and red, contact your doctor

It seems like it more internal.

I had that same problem with my right side. For me it lasted for about 2 weeks than slowly got better.

Thank you for the response. Did you notice much difference between the two.

The WLS literature I received suggested using a thermometer to daily check temperature as a way to detect if an infection was brewing. My left side was the most painful and lasted about two weeks; wearing an abdominal binder seemed to help.
