Your pictures are great. I was offered early retirement when I turned 50. I did not take it until I was 62. I was not ready at 50 and everyone I knew who took it then ended up working for other companies.

At the time I loved my job and my company. If that were not the case, I would have welcomed the opportunity to leave. My job was being eliminated and I did not feel like looking for a new position in the company and learning something new, so just took the early retirement at 62 instead of my original plan to retire at 65.

The retirement income was almost as much as I had been making working and I really enjoyed those extra years of doing anything I wanted to with my time.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends

Thank you. A lot of people that I have know to retire have subsequently gone back to work, though few at jobs with sales goals. Plus I have more tuitions to pay for.

When I decided to retire, my husband had passed away and I was 100% debt free and completely alone in life. I would not have wanted to retire and still be paying tuition. I know several people in that position and it is not easy.
