Morning all! Happy Fri-Yay! We're dealing with an "arctic front" today. Temps will be -8 where I live but there will be wind gusts at 50 mph, so wind chills are going to be much lower. Such a bummer that the cold is here today because, as many of you probably remember, Grim and I always go to Red Sox truck day, which is the day when they load up the big 18 wheeler trucks with all of the gear and send it off to Florida for Spring Training. It's a very fun day! But not fun enough to get frost bite for, so we'll be missing it this year :(

Pics are: our happy places! Wood and cookie cutter. And Grim's yummy mug of bacon.

QOTD: What "old person" things do you do? I am not sure if this is more like an old person or a toddler, but I prefer to eat dinner before 6pm and I go to bed before 9pm. Since being home this year, I'm also getting a lot nosier about the comings and goings of my neighbors, haha.

B: egg bites

L: chocolate protein shake with almond milk

D: chicken

Good morning QB and menu friends! Well I am at the other end of the Red Sox trip, spring training is here. We also have the Minnesota Twins training in this town as well. I hate spring training for the traffic! Grid lock on game days. In years past I used to go to the games and drink beer. A colleague had season tickets first row at first base for both teams and I got 4 tickets to a least one game. Honestly I don't like baseball that much, but a chance of a workday afternoon off, beer and hotdogs was a lot of fun.

QOTD: I am a senior citizen, but still eat late and go to bed late. Except when I don't. Early bird specials is one exception (not many offer that here) because if you go before 6, you often don't have to wait for a seat and it's much less crowded. We rarely go out to dinner in season. Without reservations, it is at a minimum an hour or two wait during prime times. If there is no wait, then the food is not good at that restaurant.

Menu. Shake, ham, yogurt, orange. Dinner TBD. Perhaps eggs or hamburgers?

Good morning QJB and menuers,

Wow, never seen a mug of bacon before - that's impressive! Stay warm today! My friend in Vermont warned me about the weather there, too. It's a good indoor day.

QOTD- I'm happy to eat dinner at 3pm. We were joking about it during the trip, even.

Made it home late last night with the bonus ice and such. We got lucky in that it didn't really rain the whole time we were there but it got us on the way back. Works for me!

This morning I'll pick up my doggos. I miss the little stinkers! Then just making sure my friend gets to the airport to catch her plane home. The plan for the weekend is getting caught up and ready for family and surgery. Good times!

Accountability- Not enough protein. I had the ham and cheese part of a croissant when I don't like ham. Had one beignet during breakfast and will stay on team Cafe Du Monde. One plain Cafe au lait. Half a burger patty with pieces of tomato and pickle. Two pieces of broccoli.

Exercise - I did a half hour of biking yesterday and then walked for ten minutes. Glad I did. Will exercise tonight once I've taken care of adulting for the day.

Menu - Protein bar and TBD!

Photo dump of a few NO things. Happy Friday, everyone!

Hey! Yeah, that's something I'm still trying to figure out. The energy just isn't there and hasn't come back to the levels I remember from last time. I'm working with my doctors to try and narrow down what could be contributing but no luck so far. I'm still getting out there but then, I crashed hard after getting home from the airport yesterday and have pretty much been asleep since then. Much as I love exercise and feel better afterwards, it doesn't give me the energy it used to, either. Calorie levels should be okay and my blood tests have all improved, so it's a fun mystery!
