QOTD- Doxxing it was a story on CNN and I was curious what it meant.

This week seems to be flying by, Monday I was laying in bed with my heating pad. Was not a good day. At least I've had work this week. So I should be able to get my hours or at least I hope so. One of my co-workers suggested that I call one of the bosses and see if they can get me more work. I will try to do that.

There is a new Covid vaccine for the new variant. I don't know if it's any different than the last ones. Does anyone know? I've had my initial series of 2, plus 3 boosters the last one in September. So is it worth it to get another one? I was also thinking of getting the pneumonia vaccine.

Grim I sympathize with your search. When I was in Maui I found out that construction is so much different than where we have wood. All of the studs are metal (due to termites) and I ended up talking to 4 different people before I was told what would go through them and what screws to use. Ended up having to get the cobalt drill bits and an electric drill to get through them. Give me wood studs anytime. Enjoy the movie & popcorn

I should get back to work.

Have a great day everyone!

Have you had the biavalent? That was the last one I thought they were recommending.

My GP had me get the pneumonia vaccine after 3 rounds of pneumonia in 2 years and it's good for 10 years. I have not gotten pneumonia since so am a happy vaxxer. Having had family members with long term complications from polio before the vaccine was available, I am pre-wired to get all the vaccines available to me though.

Hi friends!

I quickly got back into my bad habit of lurking. I really need to post more often!

QOTD: I logged into MyChart to see what my last ferritin level was - 27. Not sure that warrants an iron infusion but I would like one

I hit six weeks post op from my emergency surgery for my marginal ulcer and peritonitis on Monday. I am back to work and feel fully back to myself - I?m back to HiiT boot camp, eating a normal diet, working full days. It?s so nice to be high energy again! Sunday I?m off to Salt Lake City for a super busy user conference that will consume six days and nights. I?m sharing an Airbnb with my funniest colleague and we will have fun. I can?t wait to see people who are coming in from England, Australia, Germany?all over the world!

I will do as good on my menu as I can - I found a grocery where I can get coffee creamer and board head so at least breakfast is a good choose. Lunch will be conference food and dinners will be with my team, customers, etc.

B: Corn arepa with mozzarella (Trader Joe?s)

L: leftover lemon dill chicken orzo soup made with my homemade stock, yum - day 3 of leftovers

D: Turkey tacos. I made them last night and they were so good I grabbed more ground d turkey at Trader Joe?s this morning

E: HiiT lower body workout. Yesterday was upper body and I?m just dead. This is a boot camp gym of 30 minute intense classes with no breaks. They kick my ass and are amazing. Even with my regain I?m so grateful how active I can be

I hate group classes and boot camp so I'm always in awe of your diligence at them! So glad you are recovered and doing well after such a serious intervention! Yay for good doctors, laparoscopy and your good compliance to all the new rules!

That's so funny, I am so impressed that you wake up and row a 5k independently! I need a class to force me!

I love that we've figured out what works for each of us! That's what this group is about, providing support and helping pick and choose what we need to build our own success!

I also love seeing how others engage and exercise since it generates ideas for what we might consider. The good exercise for you is the exercise you'll do. :)
