What's on your Monday menu?
Happy Monday Gang!! What a great weekend we had. First of all, Irvin got a job on Friday, and it is only 1/2 mile away from the house. It is for a paving company that is family owned. He is beyond happy and excited. The best part he gets the Winter off. So can still get his full retirement and work. Then we ended up going to NH to get the two trios of American *****hilla rabbits. Interestingly they were being sold by nuns. These two Sisters were the sweetest, yet funniest ladies I've ever met. Now I'm not a religious person at all, but it was such a pleasure speaking with them. Not only do they raise rabbits, but they also raise pigs and chickens and they process them themselves. I was highly impressed. Then the icing on the cake was I weighed myself Sunday morning and I was down 6.8lbs. I've been really paying close attention to what I eat and have made sure not to snack on anything during the day, plus there have been a few days that I ended up not eating until later in the day making it an OMAD.
Now to get working on the St. Patrick's day meal.
B: coffee with MCT oil
L: 1/2 cup of egg salad with 3 sticks of celery
D: 1 chicken thigh with 1/2 cup broccoli and mushrooms
Weights and stair stepper at the Y tonight.
Have a great day everyone!!

Good mornin y'all.
not much happening this week. I think I have an appointment with my case manager. I have yet to hear about my new provider there. It can take a bit.
on to the rheumatologist's office. What a complete and utter **** show. They want me to try another damned nsaid. I agreed to "try" a week, of which I will not. After 3 celebrexs I have been dealing with horrible reflux and upset system. So hell no I won't take it. I was "schooled" about what an NSAIDs was by the nurse. I wanted to bite her head off. So I am going to let them know I can't take this one either. I have doubled up on omeprazole and if it doesn't improve I'll contact my gastroenterologist. I am fairly certain one of my meds causes reflux so it's been really bad on top of that.
i haven't heard about the bill so I am going to report them to Medicaid. I've tried to get ahold of them to no avail. Shady as heck and just a crappy way to do people.
my niece is here today and we're going to go to Sam's. She also wants to go to a liquidation store. We had a low of 14° and 3 days from today we'll be in the 90's. Oh joy...spring can kiss my ass.
B: egg, sausage and cheese. Coffee
L: no clue
D: I'm thinking fish and maybe some cabbage.
If they don't want to make it right about making you pay and then billing Medicaid most definitely report them. I have to wonder how many other people they've done that to.
Why is it that some doctors just don't listen when you tell them you can't take an NSAID. I don't understand that. Do they think you just don't want to take it for kicks and giggles?
