Hey Marcey! I talked to Dawn this morning. She is at home. She is trying to get her clear liquid proteins in . Hopefully, she will be back on the boards giving evryone an update real soon. She is still a bit under the weather. See you soon! Melissa

OH MY, YOU REALLY HAD A TIME OF IT ... THANKS TO NURSE KAYE, IT SEEMS. BUT, WE'RE SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT EACH DAY IS GETTING BETTER & BETTER FOR YOU. IN NO TIME, YOU'LL BE UP & ABOUT & DASHING AROUND TRYING TO FIND SMALLER CLOTHES!!!!!! GEEZ, LOOK AT YOU ALREADY ... DIDN'T YOU SAY YOU LOST 16 #s PRE-OP? THAT IS FANTASTIC. I LOST ABOUT 10 #s PRE-OP & THEN GAINED 11 #s IN 1 1/2 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE OF A "LAZY BLADDER" ... THAT TOOK 7 DAYS TO LOSE! WHERE DO YOU GET THE PROTEIN JELLO? I NEVER HEARD OF THAT PRODUCT. THANKS, MS DAWN ... JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU GET YOUR NEW PICS POSTED ... IT REALLY DOES BRING IT HOME HOW MUCH WE LOSE WHEN WE CAN SEE COMPARISON PICS ... I SEE SOME LOSS IN THE MIRROR, BUT I REALLY SEE THE LOSS IN MY PICS A LOT BETTER. SO, SO HAPPY YOU ARE BACK WITH US & MOVING FORWARD WITH THE BEST PART OF YOUR LIFE ... Hi Dawn! Thanks for the super-encouraging words. My body is hanging on to every last drop of all that IV fluid they pumped into me. But at this point, I'm not even thinking about weight yet ... I just want to FEEL BETTER!!! The jello I was talking about called Proti 15 gelatin dessert mix. It comes in a box of 7 packets. Each packet makes 4 ounces of jello, and each 4 ounces contains 15 grams of protein. Mine came from Dr. Bour's office store, but on the back of the box it says "Bariatrix Nutrition Corp., Burlington VT 05405, 1-800-468-3428." One box costs $13.50. It was just about the only clear liquid protein I could tolerate. I used the strawberry-banana flavor. Dawn
