I knew this was going to happen but it is scarey. Can anyone give me an example of what they eat throughout the day so ill have something to go by so I can see how to get my protein in without over eating.

Hi Crystal I am 8 weeks out and I eat 5 meals a day totalling 4 oz per meal. The first 2 oz are protein ( eggs, beef, chicken, tuna, pork, cheese sticks). Then I have 2 oz of veggies or fruits or starches. No more than 4 total oz of starch per day. I also supplement with 40 oz of protein usually consisting of 1 scoop isopure chocolate powder in 1 cup of milk and then I will dring another cup of milk to total my 40oz. This usually puts me a little over 80 grams per day. That is what my doc and nut recommend. Hope this helps. Melissa

Hey Chrystal, Are you getting in all of your vitamins? I had slacked off some, and when I got back on track, my hairloss stopped Mary

Mary is right! I had hair falling out in LARGE clumps. I was horrified!!! I began taking my vitamins like I should and no more hair loss. I also started making sure I ate protein first at every meal. The vitamin thing is the key for me, it took about 1 week or so to stop falling out after the vitamins. All is well now! Good Luck, Kelly

Bleh, its still going on after 9 months, but now all these baby sprouts stick up, my beautician said spray em down!! Nothing helps, I eat mega doses of protein, did the biotin thing...doesn't work, just a passage of what we have to endure. It will grow back, and thank GOD I have THICK hair, and now its normal compared to others. Just stay on track with vitamins and protein, that's all you can do. Don't freak, it will all slow down, between 3-9 months, then it evens out....mine is bad somedays, and somedays not. Just stick to the protein Deb
