OMG!!! I swallowed a plum pit - Help!

I was eating a small plum - between the size of a nickle and quarter maybe, and had just bitten into it and gotten the skin off and I accidentally swallowed the pit with the plum still around it. I'm 5 1/2 months out and had RNY. Has anyone done this or something similar before? Will it hurt anything? I don't hurt and I can drink water, so do you think it will pass ok? Please respond! YIKES!! I have no idea what to tell you! Do you think it was small enough to pass? I've heard of people passing whole pills in their stools after surgery because they didn't get digested. Sounds like the plum was pretty small, especially if it didn't get stuck on the way down. Maybe this will happen to you. I would post this on the main board and see what they say. Or call your doctor or nutritionist. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Kathy

Oh Lord, Crystal! I'd be worried too, I swallowed a sunflower seed and worried myself silly..those hulls get a little splintery and thought for sure I was going to get a stomach ache but didn't. I think you should call the doc..wont hurt to call and ask..I'm glad you are feeling no pain tho'..Have you tried to eat since you swallowed the pit? It may have already passed down..hope so. Call me tomorrow morning if you want to come over..I never sorted out the stuff I told you about, so we can do that together if you want.
