Thiamin Level
I just wanted to let you all know that I think my PCP and I have found the culprit of my dizziness and passing out (thanks to Dawn). My Thiamin level when my labs were checked a few weeks ago was 8 and it is suppose to be between 70-90. So I am now taking more supplements to boost that level. So if any of you are having a proble with dizziness and/or passing out ask your Dr. to check your Thiamin (B-1) level.

This is a great example of how we all look out for and help each other. It makes me so sad that you've been feeling so badly because of this for so long. My doctor finally found, after a million tests, that my passing out is due to my adrenal glands becoming underactive, causing my blood pressure to drop. Never had a blood pressure problem of any kind before. I'm on medication to bring it up, but it's not working. I'm also dehydrated from it and drinking tons of water doesn't have any effect. I was in San Francisco with my dad last week and passed out two night****ting my head on a marble floor. I have a couple of big lumps on my head, but I just kept praying I wouldn't break my nose, because I was worried I wouldn't be able to fly home. LOL I don't think he's in any hurry to travel with me again any time soon.

Did your doctor first not believe you when you asked about it before?? I might have you mixed up with someone.
You can make your own appointment for plastics, and then submit the insurance yourself, you just need to have everything documented in your records to help. Call me or email me when you find out who, cause there are a couple of docs I would NOT go to in the Charleston area.
I am getting all my insurance stuff together, and hopefully can get this done around Thanksgiving or before....or December.
