Relocating to SC
Yes! Welcome to South Carolina! I live between Moncks Corner and Summerville. MUSC - the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, is a Center for Excellence and that is where I had my surgery almost 2 years ago. Their doctors and staff are the best!! They have a monthly support group with a presentation.
We also have a weekly support group that meets every Thurday at JC's Bar & Grill on Ashley Phosphate Rd. called the Low Country Bypass Buddies (LCBB). We'd love to have you join us. It's very casual - no presentation( LOL- we're not organized enough for that), but sometimes we have samples, recipes, or clothes to share. We have members from pre-op to me (I'm the granny of the group when it comes to surgery). Friends and family are welcome. Be prepared for lots of hugs and encouragement. Don't be shy!
Not sure about the job info, but I have a friend who might know and I'll get back to you. I don't think you'll have a problem finding employment in this area.
Hope to meet you soon.

Hey,
Welcome back home. I work for the state, noticed on the SC state board job postings that DJJ has several openings in Summerville and Ridgeville. If you go to www.myscnet.com, they had job postings.
