Just spoke briefly to Pam's Mom ... Pam is resting in her room at Hillcrest, and Dr. Bour told her family that the surgery went just as it was supposed to. Great news, huh? Sooooooo happy for Pam ... Dawn

Where is the Hillcrest Hospital? How do I get there from Spartanburg? I might go see her after I go measure rooms at the new house since I will be half way to Greenville. Thanks Rachel

im so excited for her!!!!!!!! I wish i could get down there to see her.. but i know monday will come quick, and she said shes gonna come monday so we will see!!! YAY PAM!!. Jen p.s. Rachel, you can take Hwy 14, like going towards dr. bours office, and instead of turning right on woodruff rd, go straight for like 3 miles.. then you will turn left onto main st. in simpsonville, and go another 2-3 miles or so?? i cant remember , but it will be down and on the left at a redlight with concrete poles for the redlights.. if that makes any sense at all!!!! its called "Greenville memorial, simpsonville medical campus" or something like that.. it doesnt say hillcrest hosp anymore.. then go in the main entrance, 2nd floor . hope this helps lol i doubt it though

Thanks. I will try to find it. It can't be too hard. Rachel

It's not hard. Here's a map, if it will help: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=729+SE+Main+St+Simpsonville,+SC&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=13& ll=34.71898,-82.249421&spn=0.068715,0.173035 Another route involves getting on I-385 (Exit 51 from I-85 South), and head in the direction of Columbia. Take Exit 27 (Fairview Road) off I-385. Turn left off the exit. Make a right onto Main Street. (immediately after you cross some RR tracks) The hospital will be on your left, in less than a mile. The building on the left, as you face the hospital, is doctors' offices ... the one on your right is the hospital itself. Dawn

Do you know what room number she is in? I don't know her last name so I don't think they will tell me at the desk. Kathy

Ohhhh Kathy! I never made it back to this board yesterday, so I didn't see this until now. Pam's in Room 206, although I don't know how much this helps at this point. I'm so sorry! I went out there late yesterday afternoon ... she was in pain, but she walked with me -- 2 laps past the nurses station! I'm guessing she'll go home today, barring any problem that might come up. She was having her blue ice, and hanging in there! Dawn

Thanks for the information. I didn't go see her since the weather was terrible. Hubby didn't feel comfortable with me driving on 85 in all that mess. Thanks anyway and when you talk to her please let her know that I am so happy things went well. ALso, LOVE THE NEW PICTURE!!! You go girl!! Rachel
