Woo Hoo, I checked my insurance site today and my surgery has been approved! Also Carmen called me today with my EGD appointment. I'm going to have it Monday, 9/11/06 at 1:00. It only took 8 days for approval, so thank you BCBS, LOL! Now I hope I get my surgery date soon. Wow, I'm really getting excited and soooooo nervous, I just hope time doesn't slow down too much since it seems to be moving faster right now a lot more than I anticipated. I will post again as soon as I get my date, pray for me that I get it soon! Bye for now! Mary

Congrats! Time does fly. It's almost been 3 years since my GB and I have my 6th round of plastics in the morning. I can still recall my recovery from my GB.... so it doesn't seem like it's been that long.

Wow! That is awesome! I just had my 1 yr anniversary I am soooo happy and would never go back! I am actually shopping for a ****tail dress now for my hubby's 20th college reunion and I went to a cosignment shop today and tried on Vera Wang, and DCBG Max and it was awesome!! Size 8's, but they were a little too tight to zip all the way, but hey, I still have a month!! So I buy a 10 and get them altered?? Woo Hoo!!! Now, on the 6th round of plastics, what have you had done and are you paying for it or did you get insurance to pay?? I am trying to get insurance to pay for plastics too, but I did find a company that finances plastic surgeries. Good Luck and Congratulations!!!!!! Deb

Doesn't it feel great! I saw your bikini pics and you're lucky that you don't have too much to get nipped and tucked. Some day I'll get brave and post my before and after pics. I'm really walking advertisement for my PS!! My surgery schedule: Anchor TT 2/25/05 BL 5/17/05 Brachioplasty & TT Revision w/Lipo 7/21/05 Thighplasty w/Lipo 9/23/05 TT Revision w/MR & Lipo 4/7/06 Revision Thighplasty w/Lipo 8/31/06 Outer Thigh/Butt Lift w/Lipo 11/16/06 Breast Augmentation and any remaining body touch-ups 3/8/07 Neck Lift - TBD ??? I was blessed to have insurance pay for all but an extra $1000 to add the anchor cut on my first TT, all of my breast lift, brachioplasty and thighplasty (w/ exception of $925 for adding lipo). I self-paid for everything else as well as my co-insurance on the surgeries above. I opened credit cards with long periods of no interest and then good rates after for those that I coudn't come up with cash up front. I used my annual bonus from work to pay for two of them and completed a loan on my 401K for one of them. My most recent surgery is the first one I completely put on a credit card. Will do the same with the next one and hopefully self-pay for the one in March with my bonus and/or income tax returns. Most of the finance companies have to have a direct relationship with the doctor's office. I learned this much to my dismay when I was looking several years ago at financing my GB surgery. More and more do have those relationships now though. I had looked at Capital One. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the support from all of you. I'm just sitting here waiting on the phone call from BS. I want to call them, but I hate to make a pest of myself, since I'm sure they get overly anxious people driving them nuts every day, LOL! Dawn, I have to say the new picture is GREAT, and WOW girl, you look more fantastic in person. Melissa, I hope to see you again real soon at one of the support meetings, I'm sure you have dropped down a lot more since I saw you last, you looked great then, so I can imagine how you look now. For those of you that I haven't met, thank you too, for responding to my concerns and elation over this whole process. It's so nice having people like you to ease my fears and be there as a shoulder to lean on. To all the upstate ladies, you all are great, and me and hubby have a ball meeting with you on Monday nights. I'm glad you all don't mind him coming along with me, but he needs as much support with this as I do. He is the love of my life and has been for 36 years, so he is worried about me, but I have to say those worries are a lot less since he has been meeting each of you and seeing how everyone is doing and knowing that I have all of you here for support. Well, here I sit waiting, waiting, waiting, so until I hear about my date, everyone take care and a big to you all! Hugs! Mary

Awww Mary! I'm so GLAD you joined us when you did, and just as glad that you get as much out of out get-togethers as I do! And we love Sonny!!! He listens to whatever falls out of our mouths, and he never even turns red or anything! Seriously, I'm glad we have been able to help some of his fears fade away. It's easy to tell how much he loves you! Waiting with you, Dawn
