I'm Banded!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that the surgery on friday went well. I slept the whole day and then discharged saturday at 4pm. My port site is still sore but I hear that's normal. I have already lost 9 pounds in 5 days!!!!! I really loved Dr. Byrne and his staff and all the nurses on 6W are just excellent--not one complaint!! Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes or prayed for me last week. It meant the world to me to see so much support!

I am sooo happy for you!! I know Dr. B is also happy! He really wanted to do lap bands for a long time, and was so happy to get patients for it Glad you are doing well, and losing!! Keep it up! I hear it gets easier and that its a learning curve involved with the fills. You are in great hands, I can't say enough for him, and the staff there!! Take care, and keep posting Deb
