Dr B appt
Hey everybody,
I feel like I missed my weekly fix this week missing our get together.
I am finally having food....at least I call it manna from heaven right now. I am so
glad to be able to eat soups, pudding, yogurt....I fill like I have hit the jack pot!!!
I have lost 33.5 lbs so far....(20 from optifast). I will definately take it.
Hope everyone has had a good day and if I don't get back on here by the weekend...
everyone have a great, relaxing weekend!
Pam

Great job Pam!
You'll be dropping those pounds so fast you won't even know what hit you.
As far as your earlier post about feeling "empty" and not "hungry", that is perfectly normal. I actually SWORE I felt hungry at first, but Dr. Bour said I wasn't. I guess he was right because it eventually went away.
Then I felt neither hungry nor full until about 3 or 4 months out. It took that long for the nerves in my pouch to heal to let me feel the full sensation again. That is why it is very important to measure your food.
I feel hunger now, but its not the same. It isn't that "OMG if I don't get something to eat I am going to pass out" hunger that sent me into a panic before. It is just a "Its time to eat" hunger. I still have head hunger - mostly when I'm bored. I'm still working on controlling that.
ANYWAY, you are doing AMAZING and I can't wait to see you on Monday Superwoman!

How exciting

. I am so happy for you!!!!!! It is going to be wonderful watching you shed those sweaters and beginning showing everyone how beautiful you are. You are so beautiful and when you see it yourself, it is AMAZING!!!!!!
. Can't wait to see you Monday!!!! Enjoy that soup. Cream of chicken never tasted sooooo good to me until I hit full liquids
