Anyone with gas issues?

I am a year and a half out from my surgery, have lost about 110 lbs but am left with a nasty side-effect...really bad gas. It doesn't seem to matter what I eat or when I eat it. And I have NO CONTROL over it. I work in a medical setting so you can imagine how emabarrassing it is when there is a terrible smell in the room and I am the cause of it. Has anyone else dealt with this? I have tried many different forms of Gas-X and nothing seems to contain it. Any Rx meds that anyone knows about? Please, I'm desperate!

Try Devrom. Doesn't make the gas go away, but helps with the smell.

I am one year out and all of a sudden I am having issues with constipation and gas more often than before. I am doing a prune or 2 a day and hopefully that will help! I heard the meds will help with smell, but not the gas itself. I am also having issues with an intermittent and partial obstruction I think...I go for a scan tomorrow, but here all of a sudden I am dealing with this bathroom issue and gas too. PS, if you are just now having smell issues, then that is good news as I have always had that! Deb
