Looking for a doc in Columbia SC

Hey all! My brother in law is looking for a WLS doc in Columbia SC any recommendations? THX!

Hey there...I am in Lexington/West Columbia area. We have some wonderful docs at Riverside Surgical www.scobesity.com is thier web site. I am a pt. of Dr. Strickland and can attest to how great he is. He sat and listened to all my fears and answered every question that I gave him. Also, the hospital Lexington Medical Center is 100% committed to the bariatric population. They just opened up a new surgical wing that has all the latest and greatest equipment. The staff was wonderful with me and I didn't feel "bad" or "funny" being a bariatric pt. there. Hope that info helps... --Kelly BTW -- they have been a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence since 2005.

Hey, Steven! My surgeon is Dr. Glen Strickland in Lexington at Riverside Surgical. He was wonderful!!! I had my surgery 2 years ago and I had no problems at all. He and his group are great!!! His partner, Dr. James Givens, is, also, wonderful! Best of luck to your brother!!

I have to agree with Dr. Strickland or Givens for the best surgeons in the Columbia, SC area. They are the best hands down. BobbyBear

I had my surgery with Dr. *****ett He is a wonderful doctor. The follow up care is great. He's a christian and that ment a lot to me. Dr *****et and Dr. Tribble are both at the Palmetto Baptist Weight Lose Center on Laurel St. in Columbia. They have a information class twice a month. Judy
