Hiatal Hernia repair?

Has anyone had to have a hiatal hernia repair done along with their WLS? Since Dr. Bour said I have a substantially large hernia, he is going to fix it for me during my surgery. I wonder if it causes any more problems afterwards?

It kind of worries me that I have to have something else done, but he didn't seem to act like it was going to be a problem. So anyone that might have had the same problem let me know how it went.

I didn't have this problem but I think this is pretty common. You'll be ok. You are in good hands!

Dr. *****ett wanted to know about hiatal I have a small one, so they won't repair it at this time. He is taking my gallbladder out though. I have significant stones in there. Good luck Tink
