Thought I would be lucky!!

So Saturday will be my 1 year anniversary for surgery!! I thought I would be lucky in that I have not had any skin issues during this year of change- HOWEVER, last week I developed a "rash" that just about drove me crazy with all its symptoms!! Depending on how you look at things, I could consider this a blessed intervention in that this rash was evident during my plastics consultation.... now that the consult is over I am miserable!!! A&D ointment combined with gauze has replaced Hank's protein as my new best friend...... Oh the perils of loosing 125 pounds Towana

So sorry to hear about the rash. Maybe it will help you get the insurance approval for PS. Hoping it goes away as quickly as it appeared!!!! Melissa

If I ever get close enough for plastics, I will find out who has a rash and go rub up against them. LOL I wasn't going to be much insterested in PS until my DH started in on the hanging skin issue and told me he would pay for PS if I wanted it. Whats this IF business Tink

OH MY GOSH MS TOWANA ... HAS IT BEEN A YEAR ALREADY??? I REMEMBER THAT I POSTED FOR MS BRITTY FIRST & THEN I WAS YOUR SURGERY ANGEL ... 10/28 I WILL FOLLOW YOU AS THAT WILL BE MY 1 YEAR. I HAVE ONLY 6/10ths OF A POUND TO GO & I WILL HAVE LOST 100 POUNDS ... F-I-N-A-L-L-Y!!!!! IT'S BEEN A CHALLENGE BEING SUCH A SLOW LOSER, BUT HEY ... I'M ONLY 25 #s BEHIND YOU NOW, SO IT IS BEGINNING TO EVEN OUT. JUST TOOK ME LONGER TO GET HERE BUT, I'LL CATCH YOU IN NO TIME. OHHHH, I HOPE I GET A RASH ABOUT 30 OR 40 #s FROM NOW!!!!!!!!! TRI CARE PRIME CONSIDERS RASHES WHEN APPROVING TUMMY TUCKS. I HAVE HAD ONLY ONE RASH SINCE SURGERY ... BEFORE SURGERY, I LIVED WITH THEM ALL THE TIME ALL OVER WHERE THE SKIN DOUBLED OVER. I ASSUME THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT I'M OFF MOST SUGARS ... THAT IS ALL I CAN FIGURE AS TO WHY I DON'T RASH ANYMORE. Thanks My Angel!! this has been an awesome year!!! i am so glad to know that you are ALMOST at the 100 mark!!!! I remeber when I was trying to keep up with Britt and Deb- what a difference a year makes-or doesn't I am STILL trying to keep up with Britt and DeB!!! Congrats!! Hugs- Towana

WOW!!!! I remember praying with you before surgery, and that was my 1st time at LCBB, so now I know when my 1yr LCBB anniversary is!! You are doing great!! Are you going to get more besides just the panni? I would also make him do a tummy tuck, which will tighten up your muscles and help you look smaller, a panni just cuts off the hanging fat without addressing the other skin, so MAKE SURE you get that straightened out with him. I know my cousin and 2 other friends who used him with "mixed good reviews" not bad, just indifferent, they would use him again, just said they had to be a little aggressive with him in making sure he knew what they wanted exactly, and then to make sure he agreed with what they wanted. Keep me informed of your progress!! I am going to Me'hee'co (Mexico) on Wednesday for my consult I am so excited for all of us, the only bad things is that we are not together, and how much fun would it be for us to have surgery together. YEA, THE SCALE COULDN'T HAVE DROPPED JUST 6/10ths OF A POUND MORE, COULD IT??? ... IT IS TEASING ME A TENTH AT A TIME ... BOY, WILL I APPRECIATE THAT 100 # MARK WHEN I F-I-N-A-L-L-Y GET THERE! THAT WAS LIKE MS SUSANNE ... SHE HAD SURGERY AFTER ME & WENT FLYING BY ME LIKE I WAS STANDING STILL ... &, I'M STILL CHASIN' AFTER YOU & MS CHERYL. BUT, THE FANTASTIC PART IS THAT EACH OF US GET TO EXPERIENCE SO MANY SUCCESSES & MILESTONES & REACH SO MANY GOALS DURING THIS JOURNEY THAT IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO GETS THERE FIRST, JUST THAT WE ALL GET THERE & DO SO TOGETHER!!!! I DON'T REMEMBER HOW MUCH MS DEB HAS LOST (A LOT, I KNOW) BUT I THINK MS BRITT IS BETWEEN 145 & 150 #s LOST NOW ... HOLY MOLY, THAT'S MORE THAN I WANT TO LOSE TOTALLY (140 #s) ... UNBELIEVABLE!
