LCBB - Where are you?????

I know we have all been busy...including me , but it is time for us all to make an effort to come to the Thursday night meetings and support the newbies (and the oldies but goodies too). I have also been asked by several people if we can have one meeting a month at someplace that is more "kid friendly". I know most of us don't have children, so we don't think about it, but maybe we can meet on Thursday night once a month somewhere else. Send me your input. The other idea is meet 1 Saturday a month (say the 2nd Saturday) so people who can't come on Thursday will be able to see us. Finally, I am putting together a Roster of all LCBB . Even if you aren't able to make our meetings but would like to be included, please e-mail me and I will send you the scoop on what information I am collecting. My thought is to put out a little booklet with everyone's information in it and to come up with a master e-mail list for when we need to get information to everyone. My e-mail is [email protected]. where and what time do you meet?

JC's Bar and Grill on Ashley Phosphate Road, Thursday nights at 6:00 until 7:30 ish...everyone comes and goes as they want...nothing formal. It is located about halfway between 26 and Dorchester Road (going towards Dorchester it is on the right) in the parking lot with the Food Lion. JC's is owned by a gastric bypass patient, Cheryl, and she has made up a menu especially for us LCBBs. Hope you can make it. Susann

I am up for the other than Thursday meetings. I know I have only been to 1 but I need to get back. I am will for a non Thursday meeting, maybe I can make it to that. What kind of information are looking for to put in the roster. Julie

We are going to work on this. For the Roster we want: Name, address, phone nos. (home, work, cell) Date of Surgery; Birthday (no year necessary) Can I share this with LCBB group (no one else)?
