LINDA KIRVEN HAD CROSSED OVER...

TO THE LOSING SIDE, THAT IS!!!!! She had surgery at about 5:30 this morning with Dr. Morgan at MUSC. I just went to see her and everything went GREAT!!!! The only thing she was complaining about was thirst and they had not let her have anything for about 16 hours now. Just those nasty wet swab/sponges--yuck. She was all drugged up like us post-op's like to be and I told her I'd come back and visit tomorrow. I'll keep ya'll updated. Even though she is new to the board, she has already made some online friends! She is such a good person and I only wish you could all get to know her in person someday!

YEAH LINDA!!! I remember that can't have water time...I cheated a bit, sucked some out of the washcloth, which helped, and also some ice chippies. Tell her hello!! Deb

Congratulations! I hope she is feeling better soon! I'm having surgery with Dr. Morgan next Monday so it looks like we have something in common. I hope she gets to drink a little something soon. Susa
