YAY!! I'm home!!
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for everyones thoughts, concerns, and prayers that with me since Wednesday. I got home today aroud 3pm. The surgery was a bit rough, but I made it through. My O2 sats, and respirations went so low due to over medicating. Let me just say when Dr. Bour gives you that PCA pump, he really doesn't intend for you to use it. I got royally chewed out for using it too much, but my question to him was why did you give it to me then??? I was up walking just three hours after surgery. That's all I did was walk, walk, walk. I felt 200% better today because my white blood count went back into normal range and I started urinating again. Now all I have to do is get this gas out of my shoulders and neck. Once I do that, I'll be fine. I can definitely say the press and seal works to cover your tube. The nurses were so impressed with this. Also, my angel, Mary was wonderful to come see me. I look forward to being a loser with everyone else!!!

Welcome home sweetie! It's so good to know you got to come home and your doing good. I called around 5:30 and they said you were discharged. It took me almost the whole week to get all that gas out, all I can say is keep walking and moving around. I can't wait to see you again, hopefully it will be at one of our meetings. Take care and keep posting!
Mary
