TJ Day 2
I just got back from the dentist. I got the Zoom whitening and cleaning done. He said I needed the take home trays too to make it work better, so I had the molds taken and they will be ready tomorrow and Tommy can go back and pick them up from him. The office inside was very clean, very modern, and was like a dentist office you would go to back in the states. The outside area and downstairs was the laboratory, and it was
a little on the seedy side, like what you would think of TJ.
I could see the American Flag flying on the US side from that street, so I could see
the USA from there, so it was about 3 blocks. Francisco took me, and walked me up to the office and spoke to them in Spanish and they said they would call when I was done.
They did, and no problems. He came back and picked me up and took me back to the house. I was FREEZING in the dentist's office and here at the house, its all marble and it gets cold at night so I came home and put on my warm up suit and warm fuzzy
socks.
The other 2 girls are sleeping. I just took my first dose of Arnica Montana, for swelling and bruising, and that should help, and my back hurt like crazy this morning.
Tommy is coming around 5pm and Francisco is going to pick him up at McDonald's at the border, about 30 ft this side in Mexico. He is a super nice guy. Julietta is so sweet as is Bertha, the upstairs nurse/maid lady. They are all so sweet, and make
the place so inviting. I just want to live here full time and be pampered
Amy, the owner of the recovery house has really been blessed to have this staff working for her. I came home and my towels had been picked up and replaced with new ones. I also have a nice fruit bowl of fresh fruit on my bedside table. I should eat some, but I am cold, so I am going to go downstairs and see what is for lunch
I had burritos, they were good, and healthy. Ground beef with some tomato sauce and fresh made salsa, and it waaas good. I had 2 full ones, but they are much smaller than you would get somewhere else...about the size of a taquito if that makes sense.
I am excited about tomorrow, and I have to be there at 7:30am and I heard surgery is not soon after.
They get you undressed, and Dr. Fuentes comes in and marks all over your body and they scrub you down. Then they give you a pill to put under your tongue and that's it!! You don't remember much after that. I am pretty sure its Versed, which won't let you form memories. Then the anesthesiologist comes in and starts your IV, and next
thing you know, you are waking up and thinking it was only a 5 minute nap and they tell you its like 6 hrs later.
haha.
I am spending the night there, so I won't be online after tonight
I will keep updating and posting on my blog on my OH page, so people can read about Mexico

I am so excited. Its 5:30 am and I am up, my back has been wacked out for the past 2 days
OUCH
I am going to stretch it out, and when I take some drugs it will be okay. I am excited and I know when they give you that nasty little pill under your tongue....bleh!! :puke: it wll be awful, but, you won't remember a thing!!!
See ya when I can post again, thanks again for all the support. Please post to Kylee I am praying for her too!!
Love you guys
Deb
