News !! - My update

hey ladies...yes i am still around.I promise. I had my breast reduction on Dec 10th ( in Wiesbaden, Germany....where we live..) Surgery went well. Boobs look great, and no complications, (or drains).. Yipee! Some of you may remember I had contemplated a tummy tuck....and back and forth...And I have decided that I am going to have my tummy tuck on Feb 13th. I figure that 1) it is already approved here and will be 100% free - I cannot guarantee I could get it covered when I move from here to the states. 2) The extra skin ihave in my stomach area will never go away on its own, so having that gone, and my tummy tighter will be nice. And although I am planning to get pregnant again, it will just be 9 mths of stretching to the tummy and I will be able to work/exercise on getting my tummy looking as nice as I can...And regardless, it will look better than it does TODAY! I'm below goal at 134 lbs, I wear a size 8 comfortably, and life is good. We move Apri 16th to Clarksville, TN :> Miss you girls...And to the new folks here..Hi! I'm heather and we're a military family that moved here to Germany....but I was in SC while I had my surgery for 11 mths while my husband was deployed. :>

Hey Heather, You have done amazing on your journey!! I was just looking over your pics on your profile....what a change. And I'm sure you look even better now!! We'll keep you in our prayers on the 13th for your tummy tuck. You can't hardly NOT do it when it's approved and FREE!!!! Maybe when you get back in the states, you can make it to one of our beach trips!! Hugs, Dianne

Good for you!!! I am going to get my boobs done soon too. I am going to have a lift and implants and I was wondering how long the recovery is. Is it feasible to think I can run down, have the surgery on a Tuesday, go home on Friday and then go to class on a Sunday?? I hope so, I want to get them asap. I love love Germany and miss it soooo bad. One thing, I know you want more kids, and I did too for the longest time, and still do sometimes, but if I went through all this and had my TT, you would have a very HARD time getting me to get pregnant again. I am so happy with my body, I can't imagine going through this and then seeing my tummy stretch out and get stretch marks after I went through hell to get them flat!! You are braver than me! I know they won't do the muscle repair if you are going to get pregnant again either, so keep that in mind Wish I was there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Deb

Hey Heather!!! It is so good to hear from you! Miss having you around here... Wow, you are doing great. I am very proud of you. I know it hasn't been easy having to be away from your hubby after surgery and now being away from your family. Give the baby a hug from all of us in SC. I am happy that you decided to go ahead with the TT in Germany. If you can do it at no cost to you I say go for it!! You are right, no matter what it will look better. Wow Heather so good to see your pic and hear from you again...so will they take my almost 60yr old husband back in military so I can get procedures done??? PLeeezeeee Kidding...just kidding...I am happy for you and I agree....get it done there.... Girlfriend I just read your profile and saw your pictures...Oh my goodness you look so much younger and you are young but my goodness you look great!!! Wow, I want to be young..maybe not...but I would like to look young. So happy for you and hubby coming back to states but the Germany deployment was a blessing for the surgery for sure.
