New to the forum!
Hi everyone! I am new to this forum. A friend of mine told me about it and I have been looking around at it all.
I have decided that I am finally going to talk to my doctor about WLS. I already know I am a canidate. When a DR first told me about it, I thought, no, it wasn't for me. And after a year of activly trying to lose weight and being unsucessful, I decided to finally do some research. I have a appt at the end of the month to try and get a refferrel to a WLS doctor. My husband is in the military and I already know that our insurance will cover it.
So I guess I just want to hear some of your stories. How was your experience? I have a lot of weight to lose, and I am very short. Just very unheathy. I ahve a young daughter, (I am 24yrs old) and I have to get healthy for my family and I.
I hope to get to know you all! Look forward to hearing your stories!
