I have been able to tolerate just about anything I have tried since surgery, except for the usually, sugar and carbs. But lately, anything I eat, Herman the grompy fussy pouch has not liked it. I am wondering if I am getting the stomach flu. Does anyone know if there is anything we can take to calm our pouches down or am I stuck being nauseous until the bug passes? HELP!!! I am so miserable. Thanks Julie

I'm sorry that you don't feel well. We had the stomach virus last week at our house. the only thing that helped me at all was sucking on a tums. It helped some with the nausea. I also had some phenergan left over from surgery so I took that. Get better soon Mary

Thanks Mary. That is a great idea about the tums. I use to eat it like candy before the surgery for heart burn. I will give it try. Thanks Julie

Julie, have you tried drinking warm weak tea? That usually works for me and if it doesn't I'll take some mylanta or pepto. Hope you and herman feel better soon. Donna, sfy

I was not sure if we could take pepto or not. I will also try the warm tea. Thanks so much. Julie

Julie, Watch out for the pepto, I think that some brands have aspirin in them
