Money will be here Monday for Surgery

Hi everyone - well the money will be here Monday for my surgery - I am so excited can hardly sit still lol! My brother and sister are so awesome (they are my fairy godsister and brother lol ) - this is the best gift anyone has ever given me in my life. Will go to Dr. Strickland's office on Tuesday morning and pay for surgery and get the dietary appointment and the filter appointment set up and hope to get surgery date at same time lol! Hope I am not to optimistic about how quickly this can be done but March 12 through 16th would be great dates since my daughter would be out of college on her break. WOOHOO gonna be on the losing side soon.

Congratulations, what AWESOME news! I remember seeing you and hearing your story at the support group meeting, though I didn't get to talk to you then (I usually have to leave before the meeting is over because my husband has to wait at work; we only have one car). Keep us updated! Lisa

Thank you all so much - for those of us in this area do we have any other support group meetings besides the ones at the center? I would love to get together more than once a month. I think the support is going to be so important. Thank you all so much for the responses. Carolyn

Carolyn..I don't know of any other support group in the Columbia/Cayce/W. Cola area. But I know I met a friend during the pre-surgery and she is my support person too. Maybe you will link with someone also around your surgery date that you two could be buddies. In Him, Joan M
