From a previous post it sounds like there is a bunch of u****ting plateaus. I got this off this site several months ago and have not seen it in a while so I thought I would post it for everyone. How to break a plateau #1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau #2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day #3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day #4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a day beef pork chicken turkey lamb fish eggs low fat cheese cottage cheese plain yogurt or artificially sweetened peanut butter beans/legumes You may also have: sugar free popsicles tea or coffee sugar free soda sugar free jello broths/boullion crystal light drinks #5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!! I wasn't successful at sticking to restricive diets BEFORE my surgery -- no way I'll be able to do it now, especially when I'm in binge mode! Lisa

Susann and I are trying to go back to basics, five small meals a day with protein, and drinking water or SF stuff in between. We'll let y'all know. I had SIX pounds gained after my PS, I'm trying not to freak out, but ITS SCARY!!! Mary

I have to say this: I did this a few months ago. Like all other past "fad" diet things, it works great WHILE YOU'RE ON IT. BUT as soon as you go back to eating normally (and I mean normally good - not normally bad), the weight slowly comes back up and you're right back where you were before suffering for 10 days. So, unless you're prepared to eat like this forever, I wouldn't waste my time! Just my humble opinion ! Hugs, Connie
