Now that I know you are okay. Remember when you were telling me about the pain during sex. Well Scott was beside me and could hear. On the way home from Myrtle Beach I was talking about you and he said he heard about the painful sex and he just thought Trent needed to back out a little. Stop going so damn deep...I almost died. OMG Deb, I am reading this whole thread Friday morning and just spewed diet coke and crackers out I am laughing so hard. I would have given anything to be a fly on the wall with you and Dr Byrne. hey deb, The feeding tube is not as bad as I thought but I still hate it. It's like having a really painful IV that hangs outside your arm with tubes and clips and stuff. I have to hook up a ton of stuff each night to "eat" for 10 hours as I sleep. I have a home nurse who comes out once a week to take blood and do the vitals and change the dressing. It's literally sewn to my arm with stitches and boy do they itch. I don't know how long I will need it, I see Dr.B Monday so maybe I'll find out then. I have gained 7 lbs but don't even care, just as long as I start to feel better soon. All my vitamins and stuff go directly into the bag so my stomach has had a chance to rest a bit. I'm going to stay on the feeding tube as long as I need to though. I really want this to be the last time I have problems related to this surgery. I just want my life back and I want to be healthy and have energy. I was really afraid I was going to die this time. I went 9 days without being able to really eat anything (unless you count one green grape in 24 hrs). Please try to eat and if you can't tell Dr.B immediately don't wait like I did, you can slip into starvation and not even know it. Take care, Robin
