No worries, its a normal process..........also a good thing. Your body cannot continually lose weight, or you would die, too much strain. So, when you are not losing pounds, you are losing inches, so be glad when you get these pound "rest periods". Take care and don't worry, it will work for you too. Deb

Don't get discouraged. I am about 3 months post-op and week before last I didn't drop a pound. But I have lost 6lbs in the past 5 days and have not exercised and eaten more crap than I have since surgery. I don't understand it, but I am not unhappy about it!!! Just keep doing what you're doing and you will start losing again!!!

YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOOO NORMAL, MS JEN ... YOU WILL "LOSE & SHRINK" ... STALLS AREN'T REALLY STALLS CUZ YOUR BODY IS ACTUALLY BALANCING ITSELF FROM THE WEIGHT LOSS, & WILL LOSE INCHES & CHANGE SHAPE WHEN YOU AREN'T LOSING POUNDS. HOLD ON ... YOU'LL START LOSING AGAIN, I PROMISE! READ MY PROFILE ... I WAS SO FRUSTRATED AT ONE POINT THAT I EVEN E-MAILED DR B ... BUT, IT IS ALL PART OF THE PROCESS. YOUR BODY IS IN CONTROL FOR THE FIRST YEAR ... ALL YOU CAN DO IS "FOLLOW THE RULES" & HANG ON! GOD BLESS YOU ... DAWN & NICK

Mine has kinda stalled too. I thought it was because I haven't been eating that much. My same ghost that I battled before surgery. I didn't eat much before surgery, but I ate plenty of the wrong things when I did. In the mornings it says I have lost 49 pounds, in the afternoon it says I have lost 46-47. Now do you see why I ruff it up? I am hoping, like you, that it will move soon. I think I remember Susan hitting a stall too, but she keeps looking smaller and smaller. Now her scales are moving too. Look at it like this, the beach can only take so much beauty at a time. I hope it is ready by next summer, hopefully we'll have flat toned little tummies (somehow) and will be strutting down the beach. Deb
