What ever happened to JC's?
Thanks Susann, I'm going to do my best to come and meet you all soon. I feel like we already know each other just by talking on this website. I was craving some sort of ice cream shake type deal yesterday and thought wow, I can go to JC's and not have to worry about asking "Does this have sugar in it?" or "Did you use splenda to sweeten this?" (splenda makes me so sick!). I'm really disappointed that they are not around anymore. I wish there was a restaurant made just for WLS patients and Diabetics that served really good food and desserts without having to worry about anything. Maybe one of us will be inspired to create such a place. I'm sure business would boom. Even people who didn't have the surgery could benefit from eating the smaller portions with less fat and no sugar. Wish we could all get together and be blessed with the money to open a restaurant. We could call it the LCBB after our group. Ok I'm done dreaming now but thanks again for replying. Love ya hun!!

Hey Robin,
Its been awhile since seeing you on here. I havent been on all that much myself.
How are you doing since surgery? I remember we had our surgery pretty close together. mine was on Jan 16 and have lost 45lbs so far. How much have you lost?
I totally agree with you that it would be great if someone came up with a restaurant for all us RNY people to eat at, and like you said it would be great for anyone.
sometimes its just so hard to wonder what your going to eat everyday and eat something just to find out 10 min later that it made you sick as a dog!
YUK I hate when that happens. Do you ever eat something and your find with it then have it another day and get sick? that has happend to me and I dont understand why one day its fine and another time I get totally sick. Thats why I wish there was a store around that just sold good food for people how have had WLS.
It sure would make our lives so much easier, dont you think?
Well let me know how your doing ok? Bye bye and take care
Denise
