Ok, I'd like to challenge everyone here (since alot of us have hit that wall) to give up the one thing that has been sabotaging your weight loss for AT LEAST 30 days.
Now, nothing bad is gonna happen to you if you don't make the 30 days. You are only in competition with yourself.
We can start tomorrow. I'll go first.
I have MANY things to give up but the main thing is REAL SUGAR and WHITE CARBS.
I will also be trying (once again) to give up caffiene and late night television.
So, who wants to join me? Put it out there and OWN it. Its only 30 days...We can do it!

OH CRAP! Are grits white carbs?!?!?!
I have been craving grits since they were mentioned on this board!!! And I may have just cursed myself!
ok ill do it! ok im going to do two, because i really dont know how number one is going to go.
so i will give up 2 things, in hoping i keep with it..
number 1.. my vice.. smoking. i have been since last night without a cigarette.. which means i am dieing right now for nicotine and i need some sunflower seeds to keep me busy and i dont have any
number 2.. bread! i have been able to eat bread like a normal person, but i dont need it! so im giving it up.. bye bye bread!!!

I'M ROOTIN' FOR YOU,MS JEN. I STOPPED SMOKING COLD TURKEY WHEN I WAS IN MY EARLY 20s & I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE. I COULD HAVE LICKED THE BOTTOM OF THE ASHTRAY, I WAS WANTIN' NICOTINE SO BADLY. &, TO MAKE IT WORSE, MY THEN-HUSBAND DIDN'T QUIT SMOKING WITH ME SO I WAS BREATHIN' IT IN WHILE TRYING TO QUIT. BUT, I DID IT & SO CAN YOU!!!
BREAD WAS ONE OF THE THINGS THE TRAINER AT THE GYM TOLD NICK TO QUIT EATING. HE SAID HE COULD HAVE THOSE WHOLE GRAIN WRAPS FOR HIS SANDWICHES, BUT NOT MANY ... GO, GO, GO MS JEN ... NOOOOOOOO BREAD.

Like you, I need to STOP with the real sugar and white carbs ... so I will, damnit.
The BIG thing for me is this:
I WILL PUT MY BUTT ON MY TREADMILL FOR AT LEAST 30 MINUTES EVERY DAY FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS. (And I will work with my pricey exercise bands I bought from Nutrition Solutions.)
There. I even yelled it so everybody could hear.
30 days ... they FLY.

US TOO, MS DAWN ... WE JUST JOINED THE GYM ... THEY WANT US TO EXERCISE 3 TIMES A WEEK FOR A MONTH ... US OLD, CROTCHITY FARTS NEED TO START OUT SLOW! NEITHER OF US HAVE EXERCISED IN LITERALLY DECADES SO THIS OUGHT TO BE SOMETHING TO WITNESS!
WE WENT OUT & BOUGHT TRAINING SHOES (I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE ANY & THEY SAID I COULDN'T USE THE TREADMILL IN MY HEELS - CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT? I MEAN WALKIN' IS WALKIN', RIGHT?
In case ya don't know ... I have a real "thing" for heels!) & AN OUTFIT EACH SO WE DON'T LOOK LIKE HICKS FROM THE STICKS IN OUR BLUE JEANS!
