KEEP A DAILY JOURNAL FOR KATHY'S 30-DAY CHALLENGE WITH YOUR WEIGHT, FOOD & EXERCISE ... THAT'S WHAT THE NUTRITIONIST WANTS ME TO DO. I STARTED LAST MONDAY WITH THE WEIGHT & FOOD ... WILL ADD THE EXERCISE TOMORROW.

I'm so sad and sorry. We are having this appreciation lunch today at the office from our supervisors' so I better stay here for office politics reasons. We will meet soon, I promise. Oh, a coworker of mine is also a trainer at pivotal fitness in summerville. Her name is Audrey Hunter. She's a real sweetheart so if you ever need anything, I know she would love to help.

I too need to give up late night tv. I also need to give up the computer for late night hours.
As far as food, I know I would do better to eat more. (I know that doesn't sound right), but I put off eating and end up only doing it once, maybe twice a day. If I eat more of the right things, that will be a big deal for me.
I also need to get back to the gym. I have been just driving by it and wondering why it isn't working.
Thanks for the challenge. I sort of need to be accountable to someone to stick to my plan.
I'd like to put out a challenge for all who smoke, to quit. I want you to be around FOREVER.
THE TRAINER AT PIVOTAL WAS TALKING TO US ABOUT THAT VERY THING ... 6 SMALL SNACKS INSTEAD OF 2 OR 3 BIG MEALS CUZ YOUR BODY THINKS IT ISN'T GONNA GET FED FOR A LONG TIME WHEN YOU ONLY EAT A COUPLE TIMES A DAY, SO IT HOLDS ON TO THE CALORIES MORE, NOT LETTING YOU LOSE AS MUCH WEIGHT. YOU MAY NOT NOTICE IT NOW IN THE BEGINNING OF YOUR JOURNEY CUZ YOUR LITTLE POUCH IS DOIN' IT'S THING, BUT GET OUT 6, 9, 12 MONTHS & YOU'LL BE HITTIN' THE WALL EARLIER THAN YOU HAVE TO.

Ok.. Im in... I'll " OWN IT " ...
1.) I have to give up sugar.. sugar in my coffee.. sugar in my tea... which I guess includes my glass of wine in the evenings... OMG what am I doing to myself...NO WINE!?!?!?! for 30 days ?!?!?!
2.) I have to give up my evenings laying my big flat butt on the couch.. I have got to get my butt on the treadmill instead of taking the lazy way out and laying on the couch until bedtime...
I do need to be made accountable to someone for my laziness.. so I need someone to come over to my house at around 7pm and drag me by the hair upstairs to the treadmill.. or throw me out in the front yard to go for a walk around my subdivision...
Or.. just quiz me everyday about the sugar and walking...
So I need a swift kick in the butt Miss Kathy.. I need a drill sargent to get "up in my grill" and demand results...
Now this sounds like the reason I loved this site when I first started!!! All about the program..and what we can do to stick with it and use this tool.Remember this isn't about the 1 years mark this is for life! Count me in on the exercise.....I have been so afraid since I tore my rotator cuff when I fell and my torn muniscus in right knee. But I bought the new "Fluidity Bar" and it is gentle movements like pilates...I have only done them 2x in a week and 1/2....I need to commit to 2-3 xs a week.
