30 day challenge!
I was told nomore than 5grams sugar or fat per serving....I still follow that almost all the time...I am almost ayear out on the 25th....I do not do white flour or noodles unless I measure like 1/4 cup and I enter everything I eat on fitday.com...so I know when I haven't had enough food for the day. If you do not eat enough (I know now you cannot help it) your body will slow down because it thinks you are starving. So eat the required protein and don't go over the limits in sugar or fat and get the needed good carbs...ask for nutritionist to give you what percent of your diet for each group..ex...protein, carb, fat and keep the sugar to the limit they set also.

Ok... I'm in.
1. I am giving up jelly beans, runts, chewy sprees, etc.... Oh, did I mention evil jelly beans?
2. I am giving up white carbs... bread, crackers, rice, etc.
Starting tomorrow, right?? Oh, man... does that include Chex Mix. UGH... I guess it will
taste as good in 30 days. I will own it and do it for me.

Ok i'm so in I have gained 4 pounds in the last month due to eating bad stuff at work but now tax season is over and I need to get back on track.
I will cut out the sweet treats for 30 days and also bad carbs.
Jennifer i'm not gonna try to quit smoking yet cause without the goodies I need something but I do want to quit by summer.
We can do it girls!

For me, it's the evil Oh Yeah protein bars and Power Crunch bars. In the beginning, they were a good source of protein. Now, they are an addicting "candy bar" that just leaves me craving another one (not to mention the gas it leaves me with!!).
And, exercising at least 3 times a week to the gym, and the other days doing some form of exercise (since I have so much equipment and videos and dvds) at home. I even went to the gym today and got my equipment orientation in with the trainer dude.
We can do this!!!!!

I'M WITH YOU; I STARTED LAST MONDAY, MS KATHY ... OUT WITH THE WHITE CARBS (don't have trouble with sugar) ... IN WITH MAJOR AMOUNTS OF PROTEIN & WATER ... &&&, NICK & I JOINED THE GYM SO WE WILL BE EXERCISING FOR THE 1st TIME IN DECADES.
OH BTW, THE TRAINER AT PIVOTAL TOLD NICK HE CAN'T EAT ANYTHING THAT HAS CHEESE ON IT, NO BREAD & LIMIT IS DAIRY. I LAUGHED MY BACKSIDE OFF CUZ I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET HIM TO LIMIT HIS WHITE CARBS SINCE MY SUGERY. HE IS A CARB-O-HOLIC ... NOT THE BEST THING FOR A DIABETIC. OUR DOC TOLD HIM THAT IF HE LOSES 20 #s, HE WILL TAKE HIM OFF SEVERAL OF HIS MEDICATIONS CUZ HIS LABS CAME BACK SO GOOD THIS YEAR AFTER WE GOT ON PROTEINS & OFF SUGAR.
THE TRAINER SAID THAT HE JUST HAD A DIABETIC GUY BRING HIS BLOOD SUGARS INTO THE NORMAL RANGE SO WELL THAT THEY TOOK HIM COMPLETELY OFF HIS DIABETIC MEDS! WOW! ALL THAT JUST FROM EXERCISING.
I KNOW YOU WILL SUCCEED AT EVERYTHING YOU LISTED! YOU ARE ONE TUFF LADY!
