Why are men such babies?
Deb,
You're in the right place to vent. So I'm glad you got it off your chest here. This is not man-bashing, it's venting. Your man, although nice, is a bit of a baby at times. But you spoil him and your kids rotten! lol. So, either cut the apron strings with your big man or deal with the consequences. I mean that in the nicest way. But you are too strong of a person and too nice of a person to continue to get taken advantage of so much. Scale back on the things you do for him and see if he will come around or at least notice how much you do!
Love ya,
Susan
Perhaps I was a bit harsh, I just don't like hearing "all men are this or that". You wouldn't like hearing all women are xyz stereotype. You should have the freedom to vent on this forum, just don't bash 49% of the worlds population. I think Trent is a good guy, don't love him less, love him more and tell him what you want from him. He'll respond.
Eddie
Yes, that was a bit harsh considering I left out quite a bit that I am sure would make you see things a little differently. Just because he had me a little red in the collar, didn't make me love him any less.
Besides, if I heard men "venting", I am strong enough in my own self to know I don't fit an XYZ stereotype. And most women I know are secure enough in themselves to know they don't fit it either.
I am the only female in a household of 3 dudes. I NEVER pee on the tolet, yet I clean it without *****ing, I always do whatever my man ask me to do no matter if I want to or not, (as do quite a bit of other women). But if he thought he was getting a woman that didn't have an opinion or voice, he was wrong.
Trent is a good guy. I am a very lucky woman, but he is a very lucky man also, because I KNOW what I bring to the table, and *****in' and naggin' ain't it.
Because I am a peace keeper, and I do love him, and I don't hold grudges, by morning I'll probably be over it. But maybe while he goes to work for 10-12 hours tomorrow, I'll just lay around doing nothing.
Deb
