Gabriel

This morning Gabriel decided to try me a little and back talk. So I sat him in his corner until he could tell me he was sorry. Well being a male he seems to all of a sudden have trouble with saying sorry. Like his pride will not allow that word from his lips. Well he sat down in the corner. ( I don't like putting his face in it or making him turn backwards...never have liked that) Anyway, he was sitting there and just asks " Mom, will you take me to Mexico one day?" I was like what? and he repeated it. I said sure I will. One day we will go to Mexico.. Kids say the darnest things. Right now he is standing behind me playing with my hair. He loves hair. Oh and I ask him why he wants to go to Mexico and he said he wants to go there and play. BTW..he graduates 3k on May 20th at 3 and my oldest son graduates high school that same afternoon. I will be one busy mom.

I think its the age. My daughter will be 3 in Sept and shes a mess! She pushes her luck every day, and not just once either. The other afternoon I told her to pick up the tornado of toys that were all over my living room and she simply said, "i dont want too Mommy"... So I firmly said, "Nataija! Get in there and pick up your toys right now!" To which she replied, "Mommy, you better shut your mouth!" OK... now in this situation, your mind wants to bust her butt, but your heart wants to laugh because you KNOW its your fault ;0) So, I compromised, but whenever my day truly sucks... I remember that day and it takes me back to the joy my babies bring me. I put two new pics of them up on my profile... take a peak!
