Thanks Everyone!

Thanks to everyone who came to the cookout today!  It was a scorcher, but I hope you guys had fun.  We had way too much food and drink left over...when are we gonna learn that we are gastric bypass patients?  Dave is enjoying leftovers right now as I type this.    I promise guys, I will get that man to be social before I die if it kills us both!! I didn't get too many pictures, but Dawn and Debra took some and I'm hoping to get copies soon...*hint* *hint* Everyone looked great.  I was sooo Happy to see Darquise (we missed you girl! ) and Debra S.  (wow! hubba hubba!...) and of course BIG thank you to Mike, Melissa's hubby for slaving over the hot grill.  We owe him big! Teagan had tons of fun!  We will have to get the kids together again soon.  Next time, we will all bring swimsuits and run through the sprinklers and play on the slip and slide with them.  Deal?  Kathy

Thanks Kathy & Melissa for planning this.  We had a great time.   Philip definitely wore himself out - he's been sleeping on the couch since we got home    I'm probably gonna follow him, right after Big Medicine @ 9:00.   Everybody have a great Tuesday (hurray for a short work week    hopefully it will go quick.

After the clean-up.  I was out like a light!  It was s short nap, but I needed it.  Something about the sun, a full belly and then air-conditioning after.  The perfect recipe for a good nap! I saw some of Big Medicine.  Anyone know when they are showing re-runs?  I'd like to watch it uninterrupted.  I had to play Ursula to Teagan's Little Mermaid to get her talked out of going to the pool and into the bathtub.  Darn sun stays out too long.  Can't get the kid to bed on time!
