Dr. Bour's Thursday Night

I am scheduled for the Thursday night information session. Just wondering if anyone from here will be there too??

Welcome! I won't be there since I am post op, but I just want to welcome you to the boards and hopefully to Dr. Bours wonderful group of pre-ops and post-ops. You will find the info session very helpful, it definelty was the biggest influence for me and my husband when I was thinking about GB surgery. It helped ease our fears, and of course, I  eventually got to meet some of the most wonderful ladies and gentlemen, who were either just starting like I was or had already had their surgery.  You will also find this board to be very helpful and you can get a lot of questions answered here, too. Thanks Mary for responding to my post. I am hoping that this will do it for me. I finally found a physician who I am hoping will stand behind my choice of WLS. Keep your fingers crossed.

The Thursday night information session is for someone to make the decision to have the surgery. I too am post op so will not be there, but if you looking for a good program and surgeon Dr. Bour's is terrific. If you need any information, please ask us here on the boards.

Thanks Laurie! I was hoping there would be some lurkers or some "newbies" that would be going that I could meet there. Am sure there will be plenty of wonderful new people! I am so excited about tonight just to learn all the info, then I'll arm myself with a barrage of questions! :)
