One week out
Congrats on your surgery.
There will be lots of times when things feel like it is stuck. Sometimes you feel like you ate a brick.
The best thing I have found is to get moving. Stand up and walk around or strech. I have had to throw up too, to get past the horrible feeling. I'm not saying to go throw up, it's just sometimes I have had to.
What are you eating? Just make sure you are not eating whole foods yet. You could really damage yourself.
The next couple of weeks are going to feel like forever. Then when you get past that, time seems to fly. It just seems like yesterday that I had surgery, and it was in Feb.
Good luck. Keep asking questions, and I hope you are going to a local support group.

Congrats on your surgery! I am not quite 2 months out and believe me, there is nothing you can ask on here that most of us havent worried about or experienced. It WILL get better and it WILL seem like forever but take it easy, take a deep breath and follow your instructions to a Tee. I, too have gotten sick a few times, just sip slow on whatever you are eating or drinking. I am sitting here chewing, chewing, chewing the chicken out of a chicken burrito and I NEVER thought I would get to this point, had a horrible time with solids...you'll get through this and all of us are here for you!
