ALMOST ice cream with protein
I've discovered another substitute for my ice cream cravings. Besides frozen fat free Cool Whip, I took my 0% fat/sugar Fage (Fay-ye) yogurt (its at Publix and Whole Foods), mixed it with my sugar free raspberry preserves and spenda, and put it in the freezer for alittle over one hour. I've left it in the freezer overnight but it gets really hard and is difficult to eat After one hour, it was like eating soft serve ice cream-same consistency!! Next I'm going to try mixing my sugar free raspberry preserves with fat free cool whip and see how that does....
Just FYI to kill those ice cream cravings

I've never done the cool whip thing before, but I eat exactly what you described almost every morning for breakfast! Its easy and filling. :)
The trip to Whole Foods every week is now a family trip. I've gotten hubby and child addicted to the place too! David is even talking about doing ALL our shopping there.
I hope we win the lottery!

I love Fage!!!! I've been addicted to that stuff since Dawn got me hooked back in the summer. THe only problem is that it is rather pricey and I could eat like 2-3 containers a day. That's like $6. Although here is a little tidbit about whole foods. If you get them to order you a box of it (12 cartons) or hold you one when it comes in you get 10% off the purchase. It saves you a little. I need to get it when I am in greenville because our publix has gone up on the price from $1.79 to $1.99!!!!
I used to like the 2% better but the 0% is now my favorite. At least one of my changes has been for the better. LOL!!!! -Garth Brooks
