I am pregnant!!!

This surgery really has changed my life!! I have been with my husband for 18 years and have one child who is almost 15. I was so sick right after Christmas until a few days ago when I took a pregnancy test. I officially went to the doctor today and did my test and I am absolutely pregnant......(at 35 yrs old). The reality hasn't hit me yet but I know that if I had not had this surgery I would not be sitting here writing this right now. I have had PCOS since I had my first child (no periods or ovulation) now I have had my period for over a year and a half like clockwork. I am two years out from my surgery and a little scared about the nutrition part but other than that I think I am ready. Anyway, I am excited I am going to be a mommy again. This surgery has saved my life and created another life but I am done after this one. LOL. For those of you who know me know I am raising my 6 yr old niece also, so I will really have 3 kids. WOW!!! I just had to tell everyone!! I can not believe it!!

Thanks everyone. I think I am still in shock. It hasn't hit me yet but I feel pregnant for sure. I am so scared of gaining weight and it is hard for me to change everything I have been doing for the past two years since surgery but I will live. I am so excited!!  Theresa

I am about 7 weeks and my due date is Aug. 20. YEAHHHH!!!
