insurance exclusion-please help

Has anyone had success in fighting an insurance exclusion. I have blue cross blue shield of south carolina, my employer writes their own policy. Under no cir****tance is bariatric or weight loss surgery allowed. If anybody can offer advice, please do! Ann May
