Next LCBB meeting

Sorry I missed last nights meeting. I've had some flu or something bugging me for the past few days and figured no one would like to catch it lol. Where is the lucky establishment to have our meeting at next week? Cheers all! Lisa

WE DON'T USUALLY VOTE ON A RESTUARANT TILL A COUPLE DAYS BEFORE THE MEETING SO I WOULD IMAGINE THAT BY THURSDAY, WE'LL KNOW SOMETHING FOR SURE. THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT LA HACIENDA ON RIVERS BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THAT WAS JUST YIK-YAK OR SERIOUS. GOD BLESS DAWN & NICK

Sounds good to me. The reason I asked is that I have a friend whose mom have Gastric Bypass surgery 20 years ago. She is 65 and has been recovering from a broken leg over the past few months. I thought this would be a good thing for all of us and her too to get to hear from someone who had the surgery before doctors really had a regimine on how to live life after WLS. Let me know what you all think Lisa

OH MY GOSH, YESSSSSSSSSS ... PLEASE BRING HER ALONG, MS LISA! WE'D LOVE TO HAVE HER JOIN US & WHAT A WEALTH OF INFO SHE MUST BE! I'VE CHATTED WITH SEVERAL LADIES WHO HAD THE SURGERY BACK IN THE 70s & ARE HAVING TO HAVE REDO SURGERIES NOW BECAUSE EITHER THEIR STAPLES FAILED OR THEY FAILED BECAUSE THERE WAS NOOOOO PHYSICIAN/NUTRITION SUPPORT BACK THEN. COMPARING ... WE HAVE IT SO MUCH EASIER WITH ALL THE INFO & SUPPORT AT OUR FINGERTIPS!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE GOING THROUGH THIS ALONE? OH MY WORD! GOD BLESS DAWN & NICK
