Hi everyone, hows everybody doing? I have to ask this question, does anybody still feel different still after surgery?I dont know maybe its just me but I still fat at times or when I do go shopping I find my self still going to the big womens size.I went to the avenue and had to walk out cause they dont have my size any more.I know im not a size 24 any more and now a size 12 but I get down sometimes cause my body is different, its still not perfect.I hate to sound like this but its just how I feel.I guess I have to think to. Do I want my old body where I was fighting to find clothes and squeeze into them or just be happy with the way I look.I guess everyone is diffent but I hate this saggy skin exspecially in the stomach area.My aunt had the same surgery and she doesnt even have to have no surgery at all.Does anybody feel the same?

Losing weight so fast leaves your mind little time to catch up. Even now I still can feel fat. The biggest thing I still find myself doing just in my mind is looking at restaurant booths or chairs to see if I'm going to fit and thinking it's going to be a tight squeeze..... and then having room to spare! I'm not 100% sure that it's something that will ever go away because it's just an ingrained part of my thinking. Hopefully one day it will change. And the desire to improve your body is a natural thing. Certainly nothing wrong with wanting to remove the extra skin after losing weight. It will do wonders for improving upon your self-confidence....well, let me say it did for me.

MY BRAIN HASN'T CAUGHT UP WITH MY BODY TO THE SAME DEGREE ... I KNOW I'M SMALLER, BUT I DON'T "SEE" HOW MUCH SMALLER. I DISLIKE THE SAGGY BODY AS WELL, BUT I KEEP MY HOPES ON FINDING A WAY TO GET PS TOP TO BOTTOM ... DO YOU HAVE A WAY TO GET AT LEAST YOUR TUMMY DONE SINCE THAT IS BOTHERING YOU THE MOST? IT'S LIKE WE GO THROUGH ALL THIS & MAKE SUCH AN EFFORT TO IMPROVE OUR HEALTH & OURSELVES ... THEN, OUR BODIES ARE PLAYING AN AWFUL JOKE ON US BY LOOKING LIKE A LUMPY, DROOPY SACK OF POTATOES. YEAH, I UNDERSTAND, BUT I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING EVEN IF I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THE SAGGY SKIN. START CHECKING INTO PS & PAYMENT OPTIONS ... YOU'VE COME THIS FAR SO DON'T STOP NOW WHEN YOU ARE SO CLOSE TO A BODY YOU CAN BE HAPPY WITH, MS MARYANN. GOD BLESS YOU DAWN & NICK

Maryann , In a size 8 jeans I still felt fat ... I would take my jeans out of the dryer and wonder whos they were ..look at them and say NO WAY those fit me and wouldnt believe it untill I zipped them up .. Sadly enough they dont fit now I got off my eating program and gained back up to a sixe 14 . Still I am down from the size 20 I started at . So I am forging ahead ..eating my protein first and getting on my treadmill AND .. trying to be a part of this support board ..to help others and to help myself .. I just had to reply to your post because I knew exactly what you were feeling .. I didnt stay small long enough to tell you IF it ever goes away . Hugs , Ruthie
