Water Help

Ok, I need some advise. About 5 days out from surgery water started to have a VERY metalic taste to me, so I started using Crystal Light. Now that is starting to have a bad taste, especially in the AM. I have tried the lemonade, pink lemonade, and Fruit Punch types and all with the same results. I use to drink diluted propel before surgery, but it scares me because it has a lot of sugar. Does anyone else drink propel? And do you have trouble with it? Or does anyone have any other suggestions about flavoring water? I would appreciate any help. Thanks Julie

I have had to switch to unsweetened tea or I like water now with a slice of lemon in it and lots of ice. The snapple sugar free drinks are good diluted and so is the minutemaid sugar free orangeade. Hope this helps Mary

Julie, I'm not sure why, but our taste buds go a little wacky after surgery. I'm still nauseated by a few drinks...Crystal Light is one I found AquaCal at Walmart...which is just flavored water (no calories, no sugar). They have 4 flavors that I know of...strawbwrry, grape, lemon, and peach/mango. I love them...they cost $2.00 for a 4 pk. If you try them let me know how you like them. Tonya
