Hi Everybody,
All is well and I feel great. My blood sugar has already leveled to normal. I have lost my first eight pounds. So now I am officially on the losers bench. Also, I wanted to make a statement concerning Beaufort and Dr. N. McDevitt. This is no way a military program. The military do not have their own doctors to perform this procedure here in Charleston so they have a network of doctors who they refer you out to. There use to be some in Charleston they use to use, but do to some problems they no longer have them in their network of physicians. Therefore we had to go to a civilian doctor who does everybody not just military. As a matter of a fact the third person in our was a sheriff out of Beaufort. Just know that any military dependents that have a desire to have this procedure will be referred to him until other doctors are added into the network. If I had to chose I would of chosen the same Dr. He was GREAT and his whole staff was MAGNIFICENT from beginning to end. They made us feel like people not patients. When we woke up from surgery Joyce the coordinator was there. Before we went to surgery she was there to make sure we were comforted. I was and I know Becky was too. If I had to do it all over again. I would take the same path. This was easily one of the best decisions I have ever made.
KUDOS to LCBB and OH family for all your support. In the time of all this and my husband being Iraq. You all are Wonderful. Usually I am a lerker, but I wanted to say this.
I love yall,
Pat
