Last week Dr. Ross' office called and scheduled an appointment for Weds. Then, today his office called and one of his staff asked me all the preemptive questions that you get asked prior to surgery, allergies, family history, previous surgeries, ever had any major accidents, etc. etc. So I assume the surgery is going to be very, very soon.

I didn't have a tube down my throat.. my 2nd meeting with him was to go over the surgery and set my date... But that was over 2 yrs ago so I may be wrong on the protocol...
Anyway good luck hon, besides I've had the scope done before my surgery and you're sleeping so you don't know about it..

The Charlotte South Side Support group will be meeting this Friday afternoon:
When: Friday, January 16th @ 4:00 pm
Where: Panera in Ballantyne Village
Who: Anyone who is considering/has had/will be having weight loss surgery
We will meet Lori M. at this meeting, further expanding our small, but supportive group. And Pat will hopefully recount her gallbladder surgery and update us on that situation.

Try Dr. Bauman with www.carolinaweightlosssurgery.com. I didn't have my surgery with him - I had it with Dr. Theis in rock hill. he's no longer practicing - but I wish I had used Dr. Bauman!! I've had several friends go through Dr. B and LOVED it. Not to mention - he is thorough, thorough, thorough.. not just about pre-op - but he's REALLY good with post-op care. I'm currently seeing if he will take me on as a patient for post-op despite the fact he didn't do my initial surgery. So.. he's in Concord - but believe me - WORTH IT. My friends look great, and are very healthy - but mentally AND physically.
